After MTV canceled The Hills New Beginnings, the show’s star Spencer Pratt is back on TV with Judge Me, a new interactive show with Looped Live.
Everyone’s favorite The Hills antagonist and one half of Speidi, Spencer Pratt, is back with his own interactive TV show with Looped Live. Two weeks earlier, MTV announced that The Hills New Beginnings, a spinoff of the original show, would not be returning for another season. While fans were sad to see the show go, star and Spencer’s wife Heidi Montag offered fans hope on Snapchat in early January. At the time, the star did not know the fate of the show but suggested that if the show did end, there were other opportunities opening up for her and Spencer.
Upon hearing the news, Spencer posted a TikTok of himself reading the news of the show’s cancellation and appearing disappointed as the show’s theme song “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield played. Despite his visible sadness, the star never seemed to be a big fan of his costars, even calling them the worst people ever on Twitter. The reality TV star made it clear he was more focused on being a good father to his son, Gunner, and running his Pratt Daddy Crystals business than hanging out with his “calculated” costars. Luckily, Spencer and Heidi have always been fan favorites, so the news of a new show for Spencer isn’t much of a surprise.
While his days on The Hills may be over, Spencer is ready for his new venture. Heidi’s husband announced on Twitter that he would be hosting a new show with Looped Live called Judge Me With Spencer Pratt. “Step inside my virtual courtroom and join me on @loopedlive on Feb.17 for JUDGE ME,” Spencer tweeted. “The all-new interactive livestream show where you plead your case, the audience votes, and I give the final say!” The show will allow viewers to submit their own stories and disputes with family, friends, and coworkers, and Spencer will decide who the winner is.
The star has been incredibly outspoken during his time on The Hills and in the spotlight and is a big fan of weighing in on celebrity feuds and dramas. As a diehard Taylor Swift fan, he’s unapologetically defended the singer during all of her controversies in recent years. When the MTV reality series Siesta Key premiered, Spencer worked with Cosmopolitan magazine to write hilarious episode recaps that got fans watching the show and awaiting his honest opinion. The new show seems right up the star’s alley.
All’s well that end’s well for Spencer Pratt. The ending of The Hills may have been disappointing at first, but as fans have learned throughout Spencer’s TV career, he’s never quite done gracing fans’ screens. He always manages to make a comeback, and this time fans will see him in a new light, as the main star of the show with control of his own narrative. Fans are surely excited to see what Spencer has in store for the new show.
Judge Me With Spencer Pratt premieres on February 17th on Looped Live.
