A new image showcases Maria Bakalova in A24’s upcoming horror film, Bodies Bodies Bodies. The picture, helmed by Halina Reijn, began production back in May of 2021. Previously described as a “secret slasher film,” the story will follow a group of rich 20-year-olds whose games during a hurricane party take a deadly turn. Bakalova, best known for her role in Borat 2, will star in the film alongside Pete Davidson, Amandla Stenberg, Myha’la Herrold, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders, and Lee Pace.

In a new image shared by The Playlist, A24 fans are treated to a sneak preview of the highly anticipated horror. Featuring Bakalova amidst a haggard group of female co-stars as they stare fearfully off-camera, Bodies Bodies Bodies certainly seems to fit the bill for a classic slasher film. While the adversary faced in the film is kept noticeably secret, the image provides a foreboding taste of what audiences can expect both visually and atmospherically upon its release on March 14.
