Xbox Game Pass games for February 2022 have been announced by Microsoft, with Ark: Survival Evolved and Skul: The Hero Slayer headlining the list.
Microsoft has revealed the upcoming Xbox Game Pass games for February 2022, with Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition and Skul: The Hero Slayer among the new games being added to its ever-growing library. Last year, Xbox Game Pass added games worth over $6,000 to its subscription service, including day-one releases like Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite, as well as popular additions like It Takes Two, Minecraft Dungeons, and Microsoft Flight Simulator. January 2022’s Xbox Game Pass releases included Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Outer Wilds, and Spelunky 2 – a relatively successful month for Microsoft’s game subscription service.
Xbox Game Pass’ 2022 lineup has already started to take shape, with 31 games already confirmed to hit the service throughout the year. First-party projects like Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield and Arkane Studios’ Redfall are releasing on Xbox Game Pass day-one and a slew of third-party games have already been confirmed for the platform in the coming months. Total War: Warhammer 3 is coming on February 17, STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl arrives in December, and Hello Neighbor 2 is incoming sometime in 2022, among a plethora of other launches. Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard is also expected to make a big impact on the subscription service, though what games may appear on Xbox Game Pass in 2022 is still anyone’s guess.
Confirming the news on Twitter, Xbox Game Pass has revealed the first batch of game additions for February 2022, offering a full breakdown on the Xbox website. Headlined by titles including Ark: Ultimate Survival Edition and Skul: The Hero Slayer, it seems like another solid month of additions for Game Pass subscribers across Xbox consoles and PC.

It should be pointed out that Ark: Survival Evolved is already available on Xbox Game Pass, though the new offering is the Ultimate Survival Edition, which comes ahead of the Xbox Series X/S Ark 2 console launch. Ark is one of the most played games across Steam and console platforms and has solidified itself as one of the best survival games alongside Rust. The original Ark: Survival Evolved has been on Xbox Games Pass for a while on both PC and console, as well as through Xbox Game Streaming. It’s available alongside its Scorched Earth, Aberration, and Extinction expansion packs. The Ultimate Survival Edition, however, includes all DLC from both its season passes, as well as six special skins for various dinosaurs. This means Xbox Game Pass will likely add the Genesis: Part 1 expansion for subscribers, which adds new resources, features, and creatures, as well as unique environmental features like Volcanic Hellscapes and an expansive Ocean with underwater trenches.
The latest slew of new additions are likely to keep fans happy, offering a solid mix of day-one Xbox Game Pass releases with a range of different titles to choose from. Microsoft’s popular subscription service is considered one of the best deals in gaming, giving PC and Xbox players the chance to explore hundreds of titles for a monthly fee. With 2022 well underway, it’s hoped there’s even more exciting additions soon to come.
